Yes I agree that some have links fitted or supplied and sometimes you might have the opportunity to use them as I have suggested but sometimes you might not be that lucky. Either way I just wanted to know if anybody was happier by ensuring both ends making the equivalent of a twice size Live conductor in any event by ensuring jointed.ebee, I think the hobs already come with the copper links fitted anyway in this case. And you remove them when 'on the continent'. Well some do.

Personally I do not think it would make much difference in the real world but I could understand somebody being rather cautious if they have experience of any split between the L to N of each compared to the other being not very near 50/50 - a 60/40 %age of total power split between the two might seem quite large if the total permissible or the total diversified load is a bit close to call on our "new" csa dimension we have created.
