50mm insulation gap required when using an unfelted roof?

Simple question. Want to shove in two layers of 75mm rockwool that I have on hand in a loft room where I have access to the rafters. That would leave me with a 30mm gap behind. I'm assuming it is fine because the roof is unfelted so no problems with ventilation, right?
