Actually, at Harrods you can pay to use a "luxury washroom"...

I know this as I used to live round the corner and whilst buying bread and milk (honestly, it is much cheaper than the corner shop!) I once decided I needed to go. I think it was about £2 to use the posh loo, so I just waited till I got home.

Really? I never saw a luxury one when I was there last. They were all free and extremely palatial too. We noticed loads of food was cheaper there and came home with tons of stuff .......

Well, if I ever get a parking fine in Paris I'll remember this incident and just say "Well, for 68p you get to _____, so surely this is only worth about 2p?"
