Hello All,
A C&G exam question I read the other day.

The effectiveness of protective measures should be considered with regard to

A) external influences
B) safety services
C) maintainability
D) compatibility

I got it wrong  . Would you ??

Yeah, question is probably based on 410.3.3. Only the first answer seems to make any sense though, the rest seem to just be made up words.

341.1
(ii) the effectiveness of the protective measures for safety during the intended life shall not diminish, and
(iii) the reliability of equipment for proper functioning of the installation is appropriate to the intended life.
So B most likely but C also correct.

I think to selecting of random sentences and making them into questions is daft.

Hello, this is exactly as the question was worded, C&G 2382.

I went with A, but the 'answer' they wanted was C !

Eric, doesn't your 341.1 (ii) (iii) only cover maintainability ?

(Chapters 33, 34 and 35.).
