Hi

I'm hoping to replace my old shower enclosure however Im struggling to find one in the correct size.

Due to the cam in the ceiling, the maximum height the enclosure can be is 1800mm but most suppliers only seem to sell enclosures with a height of 1850mm.

Could anyone please advise where I might be able to buy a corner shower enclosure - 800 x 800 x 1800mm.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The standard height for shower doors is either 1850, 1950 or 2000mm. Shorter doors used to be available from Manhattan and Lakes bathrooms although they were around 1830mm in height. If you require a shower door no higher than 1800mm you will have to have one made, a number of the recognised shower door manufacturers do offer bespoke or made to measure services.

To build a bespoke shower door the manufacturer will take a standard door from their range that meets your requirements and remanufacture it to suit the size required. Although a number of manufacturers do offer this service the lead times can vary from 3 weeks to 3 months for certain products. Simpsons enclosures offer a full bespoke service and will normally manufacturer your shower door in approximately 3 weeks. alternatively you could speak to a specialist such as Showerpower who specialise in bespoke frameless shower enclosures but also understand bespoke framed shower enclosures and angled shower enclosures for lofts. They should be able to offer advice regarding what is possible and the best product for your space.

The increase in price for a bespoke shower door over a standard product is usually in the region of 30 - 40%.

I hope that this helps.
