9.5cm wide blocks?

Are the manufacturers penny pinching or is this normal? I measured my blocks and they are all 9.5cms wide. At first I thought maybe 4inch is 95mm but nope. Ive been had lol

Can anyone explain why this is?

You get blocks which are 100mm normally aac, 95mm is about normal, I've had 90mm before. *******s.
The bigger manufacturers are better but some of the smaller ones the tolerance can be +- 10mm

Ah I see, I thought id got some chinese knock offs lol
