Can a 40mm branch come out of the wall and more or less go straight in to the stack? As in there would be no horizontal pipe, just out the wall, 90 degree bend and then into a boss. Would movement cause problems?

Thanks!

Not if you use a coredrill larger than the pipe thru the wall and seal pipe/brickwork with a flexible mastic
