We are a fair way into the build and the walls are up and now planning to do the ground floor. The original plan was for a timber floor. But getting someone to do a solid one seems a lot easier.
Is this possible considering the damp proof course is already in place and unless I'm mistaken it will is lower than it should be for a solid floor.

You will need a few items to build up the floor, hardcore 100mm, sand blinding 25-50mm, DPM, insulation 100-150mm, concrete 100mm, screed 50-75mm. You can just bring the DPM up the wall and chop off when laid.

Are you intending UFH?

So the dpm doesn't need to be tucked in with the dpc? That's good if not. Also if 50mm screed is ok that would be handy.
Not sure about the underfloor heating. I like the idea but Ive got a lot to learn about it.
