My double glazed window is letting draft in.
Upon closer inspection, there is a few mm's gap on the bottom side of the hinge side as show here:

The top of this section seals properly.

The seal seems to be okay and is doing its job elsewhere on this window.

Can I have some advice with this please. Thanks in advance.

I have seen that happen when the hinge mechanism is loose. In those cases I had to close the window from the outside- pushing against the "hinge" side of the window as I close it. Doing so helps the bottom of the door to align with the V shaped thingy. As you can tell I am not a glazer. It might be helpful to those that are more knowledgeable if you photograph the bottom right hand side with the window open.

When you open and close the window, do you sense any movement (looseness) in the hinge, either where it locates to the frame and/or the window itself? Or does any part of the hinge mechanism itself seem loose. Also, at the back edge of the hinge, there's usually some form of locator (not sure of the proper term) where the hinge closes into, thus drawing the window in. Maybe that's broken? A pic of the open hinge might help folk to assist you.

Classic worn hinge ... as others have alluded, replace both window hinges ( as they come in a pair ) and window hsould be fine

Just wondering... how do you measure them to determine the replacement? Do you just measure the length of the part of the hinge that connects to the frame?
