If you can't handle satin you haven't got a hope with gloss.

So i've been told.

Problem there is though - nobody ever seems to elaborate on that. They just stop at the same point that you just did. When you ask them to elaborate, they never return to the thread. Is it some unspeakable phenomenon? If someone dares to give away the secret then they will be taken in their sleep?

There's no secret, if you look there's loads of info on here, demo's on youtube and information on other DIY forums. Trouble is the difference between theory and practice.
