Want to try water based paint for internal woodwork.

I’ve previously used Leyland acrylic primer/undercoat under oil based Dulux gloss but I’m told that the gloss level is different on water based and more like a sheen than a gloss.

With new paints being introduced all the time is there one brand of gloss which produces a finish more like an oil based paint.

I’ve just invested in some Hamilton Expression synthetic brushes and rollers so just need a gloss paint to give it a go.

No water based gloss will ever give a finish like an oil based gloss will and that's in every aspect
