A rated windows in the summer.

I'm in the process of replacing all my windows and doors with UPVC. The difficult decision is whether to opt for the more expensive A rated glass or more budget C rated.

Now obviously the A rated glass will perform better in the winter than C rated but just as I like to be warm in the winter I also like to be cool in the summer. Will A rated glass also turn my house into an oven in the summer? I know I can just open a window but not always possible when I'm at work.

It's not like when you go from C to A its like "oh my God", the difference is only subtle.
