I have often wondered whether "England" has missed out in terms of radical social evolution by virtue of never having "experienced" a "commoner" inspired revolution.
I have also often wondered whether this is indicative proof of a rare and naturally tolerant, well balanced society not prone to volatile shouty expression, or more a result of fatalistic antipathy in the face of increasingly well-organised control and oppression from "The Authorities".
Whatd'yathink?
