A very backward boy

When adjusting my Valliant 130-time switch I adjusted the wheel backwards, has this caused any lasting damage and can I repair it. It seems to work still but I tend to worry and my wife has called me a useless home wrecker, please help.

If it works it is fine.
Used to be a tradition that no clock should ever be wound back but often ignored, certainly better to wind forward to be on the safe side though.
If it goes wrong always follow the "well would you believe it what a coincidence" approach.
