A4000 Trevi Blend Built-in

I had the above shower fitted a few years ago but recently needed to change the shower head and hose. Bought both from Homebase but I have got water leaking from where the shower hose joins the valve (i.e. not where it joins the shower head). I have changed the washer but this has made no difference.

Could the problem be that the replacement shower head can't cope with the pressure of the Trevi and I need to get a Trevi shower head? (I can't deny that the cost of a Trevi shower head was the reason I got a different one from Homebase!)

Could the shower hose be at fault for the same reason?
