Abcot spares

Never had a problem!!

Some of the fans might need a hole drilling for a self tapper though!!

Er, Variable!
SOme of their fans are not the same spec as the manufacturers', their diaphragms don't last as long, you tend to get washers etc missing.
Bought one of their fans for a friend's boiler trying to save him some dosh, and there was no way it would fit. Nasty.
ANyone want a fan which doesn't fit anything? Ok I'll put it on ebay.

I went to a lynx with an Abcott fan which was blowing less than half of the original.

I consider its very risky using non oem fans!

I tried repairing a Vaillant fan with one of Abcot's fit-all fan motor/impeller kits. The motor didn't have enough umph to trip the APS. On the other hand I got an old Netaheat going with one of their £30 fans - official spare was more like £130!

I've had generally good results with cheap generic spares from Antares - fans, heat exchangers, diaphragms, expansion vessels, PRVs,...all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff, but no good if your in a hurry - it all has to be shipped from Italy.

Thanks for your reply's, i am after a plate H/E for a worcester 24 CDI and they are 1/2 the manufacturers price just not sure of quality, thanks again!
