Hi all

I have an Accenta 6 system, as pictured, works fine but when the alarm goes off - for example when walking in the house or walking downstairs in the morning it's extremely loud. So loud i've had neighbours at the bottom of the street ask me where that sound is coming from!

I've looked in the big box and there's a volume control button in there but turning it does nothing - sound stays the same. I've turned it every which way. Am I missing something?

Thank you

Alarm tones at full volume , entry exit tones via volume control , did you try adjusting it while it was going off ? You may have to hold the tamper switch in , get somone to reset then set the alarm ....then adjust while the entry exit sounds are going ! OR the volume pot is knackered...

Thanks for the reply Sparky - it's full alarming for some reason. The entry/exit tone changes with the volume control but it seems to be setting the alarm off when walking down the stairs with no entry tone. Any way to fix this?

So i've heard, I take it that this is not easily done by myself and I'm probably best getting a pro in to fix it right?
