I have recently moved into a house that has an Accenta 8 Mini alarm system fitted. All works fine however the internal sounder is incredibly loud when you arm the system, which is a real problem as it wakes the kids when we set the system at night! Is there any way to turn this down?

Many thanks in advance.

"A control marked VOLUME next to the red Power LED may be used to adjust the low volume entry/exit tones to suit environmental conditions."

When opening the panel, be aware there is a 240v mains supply inside, best to turn this off before opening the box.

As you open the box the anti-tamper will operate, use your code to isolate.

Have fun.

Thanks for that very helpful. Can you confirm if it is the main Accenta control unit I need to open up or the small keypad panel?

The main box, the RKP (keypad) is an on/off switch
