accenta gen4 after restore factory sttings will not accept access code

hi, maybe someone can help. I restored factory setting, reconnected battery , alarm goes off but will not except access code 0123 .

No before you defaulted it .....why did you default the alarm ?

yep, its silly. i cound nt get it out of tamper lock

it kept registering fire zone 7/8, there is no zone 7/8 connected

Well defaulting the panel is not going to sort a tamper issue ....

i couldnt get to zones 7/8 to omit it. i thought because it was not connected

when i connect battery the alarm sounds and i try to enter access code but it will not except

cant say I like these panels, recently had something similar on a panel I had to fix (keypad destroyed after a burglary).

so I disconnected the power, secured the panel and rebooted it back up for it to accept the codes, whilst in tamper the unit would only ever accept the first code to silence the alarm and nothing afterwards.

Not sure if its just the panel tamper that stops it from allowing codes in or any tamper, its not a panel I have a lot to do with.

my accenta 4s bell box will not stop sounding. i have checked battery its new and powered. i put in access code thinking i will stop but doesnt, what could it be?.
