Access the eaves

Hello

To access the facia board at the rear of the house is very difficult. We have a conservatory and so an elaborate set up of scaffolding will be needed for me to get up there to piant and the facia.

I also need to renew our old snow guard as it is rotting badly.

So what i thought would be easier is to hire a small crane to get up there.

Any ideas what i could hire. It is only 6m high. We can access the patio from the drive, but the area is not big enough for anything bigger than a cab star type vehicle. Do they do smaller raised platforms ?

I believe you need a "ticket" for a cherry picker type lift. Probably end up having to put scaffold over it or hire a driver too!

Nice house and garden.

Why don't you put scaffold up and then replace the faica with upvc, no more painting.

£300 for scaff, take your time...job done.

Silly crane will take ages to get into the garden, get set up, too close to something and it could hit it. They bounce you know!
