I'm converting some single storey farm buldings and am replacing the old roof with trussed rafters at 600 c/c. the insulation required is 150mm of cellotex which is deeper than the bottom chord/ceiling tie by some 50mm.
My question is, do I need to provide access to this space and if I do, how do I provide some kind of walking platform in order to move around the roof space? I am constructing 3 seperate roofs and would ideally like to be able to access them all, though to be honest I don't know why I, or a future owner, would really need to except for someday replacing the new wiring that is run up there.
Any thoughts or past experiences with this question would be gratefully received.![Confused  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
