Hi all,

I had a question around ACO drains.

1) is it fine for a downpipe to go into the ACO (the ACO is connected into a gully)

2) how long can a run of ACO be? is there a point where it is too long to be effective? Please see my diagram, i want to install ACO (orange in diagram) round the back of my house. There will be 2 downpipes running into the ACOs, and then the ACOs draining at one point into the gully

Does this method of installation work? or would you suggest otherwise?

Thanks

I see you have two 90deg corners these are possible blockage corners.
any chance you can put in to inspection hatch cover at each corner for roding/flushing ?

Just my thoughts others may have better solution.

Thanks for your response.

As these are channel drains they will be visible, so easy to take off the grate and remove any blockages.
