hi
Can someone please advise?
I am planning to install a new patio up against the house, the full width of the house (10m) and 3.5m out. I plan to drop away from the house and install aco drainage between the patio and the grass.
I believe I also need to install aco along the house edge as I will be installing patio a min of 75mm below damp course. Both need to run level from a visual perspective, but how do you ensure water drains away?
Any help guidance would be appreciated

You could have a few outlets so if they go in level the water can easily escape.

When you get the acco drains they have an arrow on them.
point that towards your soak away pipe connection or down pipe.
There designed to be laid level, the falls are in the paving

Thank you both for your feedback, much appreciated. Couldn’t get my head round this one

FWIW I installed 15 level metres of it along my patio, and the water finds its way to 2 outlets (one at each end). Just be sure to clear out any accumulated gunk once a year.
