Can anyone help? I have tried to wire a second switch to an original lighting circuit. I needed a switch near the back door of my garage instead of the main door. Now I can switch the light on from either switch, but only switch it off from the same point. Any ideas?
Both switches are 2 gang, 2 way. I used 4 core + Earth cos it was what I had. The 4th core was disabled. I don't quite understand what the original wiring is though as the comm is shorted between the 2 switches.
