okay so I have divided my garage into a utility room. I have 2 lights in there operated from 1 switch but now need to add another switch to the utility room side. It does not matter if the switch operates both lights. Is it as simple as running a cable from the existing switch to the new switch and back again to the existing switch?
Thanks

Even simpler - just a 3C+E cable from the existing switch to the new one. The existing switch will need replacing if it's not a 2-way.

See [wiki]Electrics:Two-way-lighting[/wiki]

So still struggling. This is the main switch with the second switch wired in. When I turn the power back on the light stays on permanent. What's up. It worked yesterday and it's not the switch as when I put it back to the original way of wiring one switch it works

Rewire it properly
