New to wiring alarms but quite experienced with DIY in general.

I need to add 2 new PIRs to my system which will be covering 2 downstairs rooms as part of an extension and just wanted to check a few things

1) Does the tamper need to be in a series circuit?

2) I have 4 free zones so is there any reason I shouldn't give each new senor its own zone?

3) Do I need to add resistors? (a lot of Americans seem to use them)

Thanks

Yes you need to series tampers
If you put each sensor on separate zones it makes it easier to find alarm faults
No you do not need resistors

Don't forget they may need programming to work !
Don't suppose you would know the exact button sequence for that? Long shot I know

.....
No need I appear to have got it right. I just need to figure out how to set the programmes up now
