Hi,
I have an unvented central heating system with an Ideal Logic Heat 15 and a Range Tribube HE invented cylinder with 16 radiators. My intention is to add 2 litres of Sentinel X100 as I recently drained down the system following some pipe work repairs.
All of my reading has suggested that I need to add the inhibitor via the filling loop which is located next to the cylinder. A few videos suggest that I can use the quick dose cans which are around £20 for 300ml so I’d need around 6 at £120 or I can buy 2x 1l bottles for around £20.
Is adding via the filling loop the right approach for this system and if so, how do I go about doing it if u use the 1l bottles, can I simply semi drain the system, remove the filling loop, pour into the inlet and refill or is an element of pressure required when dosing?
Thanks in advance,
Ben
