Can anyone show me a wiring diagram to add a pair of flourescent tubes with a switch into my loft using an existing lighting circuit.
No. It's not that simple.
There are loads of factors to consider before you can design a circuit apropriate to you specific requirements.
you need to consider things like which circuit you are going to connect to, and whether this circuit can take the additional load, what switching arrangement to want, how close the supply is to the position of the new switch and lights etc etc
