additives you can add to board adhesive to stop damp in plasterboard dab?

Does anyone know of a additive to stop salts permiating through dab?
DRYZONE sell a damp system but wot about a diy approach

So after hrs of trawling the WEB to under. where plasterboard is used. stand "Rising Damp" i decide on the system for us.
So DRYZONE do a Replastering System.Also a expanding foam & acrylic dabs that wont act as a transfer for damp.
But Custard just sent me a link saying hes" found it"
And he found..........Wicks STORMDRY?? Ehh? That is for exterior aint it? I see why hes chose that , because its a cream to paint on ,like the Dryzone 1. But is it upto the job? God knows
