If Bonding to Gas & Water are only 6mm2 instead of 10mm2, is it still ok to carry out minor additions or alterations?
If a CU was to be upgraded, does the 6mm2 have to be upgraded to 10mm2 or can it be marked as departure on Installation cert?

Some here will tell you that as long as items such as tails, MEB's fall in to the appropriate test reading levels

i.e. MEB <0.05 ohms then they are fit for purpose.

However I have had it drilled into me, that on changing a CU, the meter tails should be 25mm, MEB 16mm ans SEB 10mm
