adhesive for asphalt floor

Hi all

I have purchase some non-engineered wood oak recently and have had a quote to lay my lounge - 28sqm

The guy giving me a price says the adhesive alone to apply to an asphalt floor is £350

Would this be a fair cost for 'special' adhesive

Can anyone advise??

Flexible adhesive is rather expensive indeed. Tub of 13 kg costing around 85 - 90 ex VAT. so his price is spot on, asphalt floors require special adhesive.

Other option if your underfloor is level: install floating, only PVAC wood-glue needed to glue T&G's.
