Hi all, hope someone can help. The handle/lock side of my upvc door seems to have warped a bit in the middle. The top and bottom of the door is still pretty airtight but the middle bit (about a third of the entire length) lets in quite a draft. How would I go about adjusting the door to make a proper seal all the way down?

Hi...when shut, the door is not sitting as tight against the frame, where the handle is, as it used to. It is not overly warped and there is hardly any gap to see but there is quite a draught. Also when shut, if you push against the door just above or below the handle the door moves and can be held tight up to the frame..hope this helps.
Do all the locks/handles still operate correctly?
The draught you are feeling might just be convection, if it's cold outside the warm air in the room will create an air current inside as it makes contact with the cold glass.

the centre latch is usually adjustable also the cams are elongated to give compression. also a pvcu door needs the handle to be lifted to gain compression or it will only latch and this can be draughty.especially if the latch keep has moved.
