Hi
Newbie question. How does one adjust the top of the door (bring it away from the frame)?
I’ve tried assisting the two hex stews but they aren’t moving.
Thanks

Thats a Mila Ideal hinge in case you need to buy some more but to adjust the door sideways IS by turning the two hex bolts, they move the hinge pin sideways thus the door moves with it, they can be tight and sometimes you an end up rounding off the hex hence why I gave you the name, the hex only really turns 180 degrees left and right so if its at the centre of its movement it will have 90 degrees each way, if its already been adjusted one way then all you'll have left is 180 back the other way, if you close the door and look at the hinge does the centre part(the half that is screwed to the door) does it line up vertically with the half that is screwed to the frame, you should be able to see whether its inline or already offset to the left or right or take a picture and attach it using the paperclip attach file at the bottom of the reply box

Well that looks inline so has scope for adjustment, as I said the hex bolts can be tight

In or out? Confused now, didn't you want to move the door away from the frame, assume you mean move it to the left because it's catching the frame on the right

Depends how the hinge is fitted, they aren't handed so if the door was hung on the right then the hinge would be fitted upside down so everything would be the opposite, I don't know which way you need to turn it so just turn it and see
