ads on this site following my activity

Hi,

I have noticed that the adverts, on my pc are following sites I have visited.

so how do you stop the ads from reading what ever it is they are reading.

I have cookies off.

Use adblocker plus - stops all ads.

Search for your "cookies" file and see what's in it.

Then report back with your operating system, and what you did to turn cookies off.

When closing browser you can set preferences to delete all search history, cookies, cache, off-line web data etc.

if you're hat paranoid then install NoScript

A bit late now but I had pop-ups that were persistant and could not be removed. So I had a look in Start-Control panel-add/remove program and could identify ad programmes in it. Which I removed and got rid of the pop-ups.
