I currently have an electric shower that has never performed correctly. Sometimes you get an ice cold trickle, sometimes scalding hot and then cuts out. I've been advised I need a pump and thermostatic shower and have been advised to buy a negative shower pump. However when looking on line as I wasn't sure what the different was and read that negative shower pumps are for water tanks level or below shower head. Our cold water tank is above the shower and the hot water tank is level with. Could someone give me some advice please.

They have said they don't go on line so can't shop around so hence why I am looking into it as they have quoted £400 for negative pump, £205 for the shower, which I have found both cheaper.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
