Hello to all, can I have some comments on the following quote:

replace an existing gaz boiler (ideal mexico) with a Vitodens 200W 60kw
remove cold water tank from loft and current vented tank from cupboard
install Ariston 300l unvented cylinder in cupboard
complete powerflush (about 22 rad)

quote doesn't include disposal of old kit, building and electrical work.

current install appears in good condition, everything is working fine and access seems reasonnable.

Quote is £6,750 ex vat. Would you say its cheap/fair/expensive?

60 kw is what this heating engineer recommended, and he is not the one quoting for the vitocrossal version. the radiators do not appear specially large.

Last job I done for a system with 24 rads and a 300 litre unvented, easily coped with a 37Kw.

Seems overkill to me. Perhaps he has one in his garage he needs to use up
