Hello, in our new house we’ve inherited a new heat only boiler. It’s an ideal logic heat h24. This one: https://idealheating.com/products/logic-plus-heat

We want to get rid of the gravity fed system (cold water tank in loft, smallish cylinder in airing cupboard) and replace with unvented system with 300l cylinder in garage.

Can we use the old boiler? It’s about 4 years old and in good condition. Would like to save the money if possible…

Just remember to get an experience pro in that's knows what they are doing and are very familiar with these types of systems. Get the mains surveyed at the point ogf entry and ensure that it can sustain a large unvented cylinder like that. Get them to test dynamic mains pressure and flow and get them to provide the figures.

Ideally have the dynamic readings taken with at least 2 other cold mains outlets running full on.
