Hi, my neighbour's boiler is on its last leg.
In the process of being repaired but 2 plumbers said better be prepared for more trouble.
It's a small flat, 1 bedroom, living room, micro kitchen and bathroom.
Total of 4 radiators ATM (none in kitchen but one in hallway).
He's running a Worcester Bosch 24i junior ATM.
Question is: what boiler would you recommend that "will see me out"? (His words)

That's what I did with mine a couple of years ago with a company called Boxt
£7.99/month and there's annual service included.
Also, 10 year warranty parts and labour.
I suppose if they offer that they must trust their boilers.

i would replace it with a main eco compact 25 , very reliable boiler 5 year warranty but basically bullet proof
Great, are parts easy to source and cheap to replace?
I think he's got more than 5 years under his belt.

Vokera Pinnacle, excellent value, wide modulation range perfect for a small property, and a 12 year warranty. Or the Vibe Max if he's on a very tight budget, 7 year warranty on that

yes its part of the baxi group parts off the shelf that day or next if on the rare occurrence it needs something, been out about 8 years now all brass inside unlike a lot of combis now that are full of plastic .
Fitted around 60 of their derivatives and only had 2 play up in all that time
You can get the same boiler with a baxi badge on it with 7 and 10 year warranties but they cost a few hunderd quid more called duotec compact and platinum compact
