Advice Needed - buying Laptop. Mac?

I recently got my Laptop stolen
wanna buy new by this weekend

i think i should give a try for mac.
can any one suggest. i found mac for around £1149
Is the price good or am i spending too much?

I am with Bob on this one, personal preference is to go with PC for all the reasons mentioned not least of which cost

The one thing that Mac users always state is how secure the system is from net attack due to its superior OS hardware etc. This may be true but I suspect the reason is more likely related to number of users for each system.

Not a Mac hater - will have one if any going cheap - or free

hello laptops can be very expensive !! choose with care regards your requirements. batteris are usually a let down find out if you can eaily obtain a replacemet battery and fit a t a reasonable cost.

on a serious note that is prob the cheapest acer site you will find. they are pretty good laptops too !! let me know you get on !!

macs are great, i always take mine if i think its going to rain
