Hi
Hope there is an expert who can advise on my problem!

Bought the house 5 yrs ago and the alarm system had been installed when it was built in 1999.
When removing a picture that had been hung above the control panel, the picture fell and hit the panel. The internal alarm went off (what a pleasant surprise that was!!). I entered the 4 digit code and the alarm silenced however the panel now shows a 'fault' light and flashes a code r1. I believe this relates to a 'keypad enclosure tamper', no doubt relating to the blow from the picture hitting the panel.

My question is - how can I clear this code without setting off the alarm again, or should I just leave this well alone and let the 'error' message continue to flash?

Thanks in anticipation of your help.

gently prise the KP from its backplate ............. refit ............ pushing it in from the top first and away you go ............... the alarm will sound at some point ...............just enter the code when your finished twice.
