advice on cantral heating programmer

I have a Vokera linear series combi boiler and a Honey well CM67 programmable thermostat which I want to change as it is too complicated to use. I wish to change it for a simple 7 day clock. Is this a simple operation?
The connections to existing programmer are simply brown and blue, trouble is I don't know if I will have to alter the wiring at the boiler
Any help much appreciated

No you are in the correct forum for the correct advice, you can replace this but if you dont want to run any additionall wiring then your only option is to repace it with another battery powered unit or a simple on/off dial themostat and then fit an internal clock to your boiler
