bit of background:

I need to install heating and hot water in a loft conversion/annex style project.

It is second-floor and is approximately 30sqm. I'm proposing on putting electric panel heaters in bedroom, lounge/kitchen area and a towel rail.

The dilemma is what kind of hot water heating system to put in. It has mains water supply and will need to supply a shower, basin, washing machine and kitchen sink. Most of the time there will only be one of these being used at a time. Ideally I would like a good amount of pressure going to at least the shower.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to what to use?

What do you mean by "good", and what is your budget?

Depends what your budget is but a direct unvented cylinder would be my choice as it will provide plenty of hot water, but you will req a qualified person to install it.

preferably over 1 bar of pressure.

I think it will be an unvented cyclinder.
