I have Junker hardwood floors in my apartment (laid only 5 yrs ago). It’s either beech or a very light oak lacquered finish I think.
Leakage from a fridge freezer has left some of the boards warped in the vicinity. The outer surfaces of these are no longer smooth and have become uneven around the edges in particular and gaps are more visible between the boards.
• How can I treat the wood to make it more water resistant?
• What is the best option for repairing or replacing these boards?
