I've got a coffee machine that requires a new olive I believe as it won't seal when tightened up. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get hold of these fittings so I could attempt to replace it.

Alternatively if anyone has any tips on how I could get this to seal that would be great.

    Thanks!

Wrap three full turns of PTFE tape around the end of the pipe and cone
( the bit that you refer to as an olive)

Make sure the PTFE covers the angled cone face as this is the sealing face.

What's the name for the fitting at the end? Cone?

Tried PTFE on the mating face and it's still leaking. I reckon it's taken such a shape having never been off before that it isn't going to seal again.

Maybe it's not leaking from the mating surfaces ( cone to fitting)?
Is there any imperfections on the fittings mating surface ? Or the cones mating surface ( doesn't look like it in the pic) ?
How many turns of PTFE did you use ,maybe try more ?
Show us pics of the fitting please.

Hmmm ,should seal with PTFE. Something not right here.put it together again ,present the pipe into the fitting ,and make sure it does not rotate as you tighten up the nut. Make sure the nut is tightened up fully.
If it still leaks post a picture of it in situ showing the drip.

The leak is coming from where the arrow is pointing. Thanks for all help so far. IMG_20200805_220453_resize_4.jpg

The leak manifests itself there but it's actually from the union. The issue is the mating faces are mis-shapen and aren't sitting square to each other any more.

I'd be tempted to try rubbing the faces with some 240grit and see if you can get them re-shaped a little. If that didn't work I'd try and get a rubber seal that would fit into that, is it subject to excessive heat?

Are you really racking it up tight? If so I'd maybe go a little easier as it may be getting overtightened.
