advise on workmanship on a bow window

I have just had all my windows replaced (upv) and opted for bow window down stairs.

after taking a closer look at the inside i have noticed a gap between the window frame and the timber wall on each side there is gap between 15-10mm I have att some pic's to help.

I need some advice , I think that this gap is a little large .
I had the window people around and they says it acceptable???

help/advice on this please
