i am in the process of rewiring the whole house mostly done. now its kitchen time. would this be classed within the regs

What power is the oven and the hob - were are your calculations?
You are providing 10mm² T&E cable so you must have done them.
What is the size of the MCB?
Is the circuit RCD or otherwise protected?
Quite a lot of ovens come with a plug and therefore require a socket point - if so how do you intend to supply a socket?
How will you test that the circuit complies with Continuity, IR, etc readings necessary to ensure a safe circuit?

If as you say you are rewiring the whole house then you must have considered all the above issues for each of the circuits you have installed.
Which raises the question why you are asking such questions here and now?

By the way use one of these rather than a junction box.

Simple isolator to cooker hood would not comply it would need to be fused down likely with a fused connection unit.

This applies to other circuits as well to reduce from the 10mm supplying the 45A Cooker Switch it would need fusing down which would be hard to do for hob and only can be done with oven if under 13A.

Although double cooker connection units are available where you label junction box to use them the items it supplies must be able to take the full supply available.

Historicity we used a 32A supply for cookers and with up to 32A there is unlikely to be a problem but where for example 45A supplies are used one must insure the hob and oven can take this supply.

With my stand alone cooker the total supply with all items on is over 45A but the manufacturer states use a 32A supply so that is the size on MCB fitted not 45A.

I have 32a mcb. oven is 1.79kw. not bought a hob yet. going to run 10mm cable for the hob and oven also extractor also a separate ring main just for the kitchen

How can you have almost finished rewiring the house and not be familiar with the Wiring Regulations?

As per riveralt's post, would you scan and post your test results?

Did you apply for Building Regulations approval before you started?

Scary that you have rewired your house and not be familiar with the wiring regulations and not understand why that circuit design is dangerous

Be good to see a copy of the test results and electrical certificate

It seems that digidy is another one of those dangerous and ignorant t**ts who thinks that if he just ignores the fact that he's ****** up his wiring work it won't actually matter.
