I wonder if anyone can advise me ,I amrenovating a bathroom next week in an old farmhouse that has a 50 year old AGA oil fired boiler /cooker, the boiler only heats the domestic hot water cylinder and an old radiator in the downstairs hall and a brass towel rail in the upstairs bathroom, the central heating has a separate boiler for the rest of the house, I want to remove the old towel rail ,cap the pipes and fit a modern towel rail fed from the new boiler, would this be feasible and can the downstairs old rad be the heatsink, I can't see a feed/expansion tank for the aga only a tank to the cylinder ,so would this be a direct cylinder, this is all new to me and is the first time I have seen an Aga, any thoughts .?
