age of boiler?

i don't think this is the same model as my boiler but as far as i can remember from when he had the cover off yesterday, the part he said i needed was the the one circled in green

the big red thing, not the guys hand

i would also like to note that the picture is off a web-site i found and the guy in the picture is not the guy who looked at my boiler even though he does looked like a really really friendly bloke (if you are on here, sorry for stealing your picture, and also cheers)
