Hi,
Please help as I am not sure what to look for now !!!

I moved into a house a few months back and still struggling to get all system working without any manuals.

It seems every week, I do hear banging noise from hot water pipes. Then, I have to clear air from these pipes and this noise goes away to reappear within a week.

There is apparently no evident leak from pipes. I haven't yet switched on central heating system.

What might be reason for this slippage of air in hot water pipes? I have Gas Boiler (Potterton-suprima) and hot water storage cylinder (telford-Tornado). The pressure guage in hot water storage indicates 1 bar only.
