My central heating system has toomuch air and that causes the boiler to overheat and shut down. This problem was there about 14 years ago when the system (new) was put in. After a while the problem seem to have gone, but please note that the pump was never set above 2 and the boiler temp same or below. The same problem started now when we fitted a new boiler. The system is an " open vented " with 2 motorised valves and a hot water cylinder. I have bled the radiators to get the air out but more seem to be produced. Any ideas anyobe?
